Are you a parent or teacher looking for ways to encourage children to develop their writing skills?

By the end of each school year, my third-grade students have learned to communicate their ideas in sentences, paragraphs, and stories. They are excited about this new skill, and even more importantly, they believe they can be authors!

Parents often ask me how they can continue encouraging their children to write. They have seen so much growth in their child’s self-confidence, and they don’t want them to lose this blossoming love of writing. But they feel ill-equipped.

My current work-in-progress is a guide for adults who mentor young writers. Whether you are a trained educator, a homeschool parent, or someone who wants to understand the writing process better so you can encourage a young writer in your life, this guide is for you!

My goal is to publish the guide by the end of 2024.
